# VA Auth Solutions (VAAS) > VA Auth Solutions (VAAS) is web-based software that manages the VA Community Care authorization workflow for chiropractic, massage, physical therapy, and acupuncture clinics, and for the medical billing companies that manage VA authorizations for multiple clinics. It reads VA authorization faxes, tracks authorizations and expiration dates, alerts staff before renewals are due, auto-fills Request for Service forms (VA Form 10-10172), and faxes chart notes and billing packets to the VA. Made by VA Auth Solutions LLC, Soldotna, Alaska; built by a practicing chiropractor who bills VA Community Care. ## Pages - [VAAS for clinics](https://vaauthsolutions.com/demo): Overview, how it works, screenshots, FAQ, and demo request form - [VAAS for billing companies](https://vaauthsolutions.com/billing-companies): Managing VA authorizations for many client clinics from one login ## Who it is for - VA Community Care providers: chiropractic, massage therapy, physical therapy, and acupuncture clinics that see veterans on VA authorizations - Front-desk and office managers who handle VA authorizations, RFS forms, and VA faxes - Medical billing companies that manage VA authorizations and VA billing for several client clinics ## What it does - Reads incoming VA authorization faxes and files the authorization number, visit count, care type, and dates to the patient - Tracks every active authorization by patient and care type, with visits remaining and expiration dates - Dashboard alerts: RFS due, expiring authorizations, patients waiting on a new authorization, upcoming appointments - Auto-fills VA Form 10-10172 (Request for Service) with patient, diagnosis, CPT, and provider information, attaches the latest chart note, and faxes it to the VA - Splits bulk chart-note PDFs exported from the EHR (built around ChiroTouch) and files each note by patient, care type, and date of service - Merges cover sheets and chart notes into billing packets and faxes them to the VA in one batch - Gives every clinic its own VAAS fax number - VAAS Uploader (Windows): chart notes and VA faxes dropped in a folder on the clinic's computer upload automatically ## For billing companies - One login for every client clinic, with a clinic switcher - Company owner sees all connected clinics; account managers have their own logins and see only assigned clinics - A clinic grants access by entering the billing company's code and can remove it at any time; the clinic keeps ownership of its data - Clinics don't need to change how they work: notes and VA faxes reach VAAS through the Uploader folders, which billers who remote into clinic computers can also use - Per-clinic volume pricing; free 30-day trial across all of the company's VA clinics ## Where it works VAAS follows the fax-based VA Community Care workflow and VA Form 10-10172 used with TriWest Healthcare Alliance, which administers the VA Community Care Network in Alaska and the western states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wyoming).
